Pedagogy without Borders: New Frontiers of Teaching and...
Wednesday February 19, 2025 9:00am - 10:15am EST

Join us for our opening session which will include opening remarks from Kristy Buccieri, Acting Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning at Trent University, and a Land Acknowledgement from Mitch Huguenin, Indigenous Pedagogy Educational Developer. (9-9:15)

Following that will be the Student Keynote Panel as we explore the theme of Pedagogy Without Borders: New Frontiers of Teaching and Learning. The panel will feature current college, and university students who will share their experiences and insights on how technology has been integrated into their learning experiences. They will discuss how technology has enhanced or hindered their engagement and motivation in their classes, as well as the challenges they have faced. The panel will be moderated by Terry Greene. In general, the panel hopes to provide insight into the student experience as we all navigate a pedagogical landscape without borders.

What new frontiers have you travelled in your learning journey?
What is your approach to using tech in course work?
What advice would you give to teachers integrating technology in the classroom?
What is your worst experience with educational technology? Why?
What is your best experience with educational technology? Why?
