Pedagogy without Borders: New Frontiers of Teaching and Technology
Since the 2023 KTT conference, new educational technologies and the advent of generative artificial intelligence (AI) have radically transformed higher education. Both faculty and students are consistently adapting their teaching and learning to the challenges and opportunities created by these technologies. This conference invites faculty, staff, and others to share how they are re-imagining teaching and learning in ways that shift our pedagogical borders, and think creatively about the new frontiers we are facing together in teaching and technology. What technologies are you using in your teaching? What are the opportunities these technologies afford you as an instructor? How do they impact student learning? How are you currently navigating challenges in your teaching and learning?
Presenters are welcome to submit proposals for one of two conference tracks: one focused specifically on AI and another on other contemporary issues related to educational technologies.
Format: The conference will be delivered virtually. All conference elements including the student panel, keynote talk, and conference presentations will be held over Zoom.
You can submit your proposal here! Proposals will be accepted until November 29th, 2024. If you are unable to create a Schedule account, you can reach out for help over email to terrygreene@trentu.ca
