About me
Dr. Victoria Silverwood is a Lecturer in Criminology and Programme Director of the MA in Applied Criminal Justice and Criminology at Swansea University. Her teaching is predominantly research-led and focuses on her academic work in the developing field of Sport Criminology and in research methods. As a self-pronounced Canadaphile, Victoria was delighted to spend a week at Trent University last semester working alongside Beth and Stephanie to develop this exciting COIL opportunity. Teaching at Swansea University is delivered in person, making on-line learning relatively new to Criminology staff presenting a steep learning curve so it has been especially helpful to work alongside Beth and Stephanie and learn something new. Victoria and her colleagues have a great deal of applied work experience negotiating the criminal justice system in England and Wales and are relishing the opportunity to share experiences comparatively in this exciting new module.
